Shark Fishermen

These Georgia men are volunteers for a shark tagging program under the auspices of the NOAA. They fish from the beach, then tag the sharks they catch to record the date, location, size, sex of the shark and the gear used to catch it. The shark in this photo is a 6'2" female bull shark caught in the panhandle of Florida. Once tagged, the sharks are released back into the ocean.
